“Masterplan Builders was not the first general contractor given consideration for building my home in Rockport. I interviewed and toured the homes of three builders before deciding to hire Stan Thomas.

There are several aspects to Stan and his homes that stand out in my mind. When I inspected homes built by Stan and his competition, a number of differences became obvious to me. The simple act of walking up the stairs was eye opening. While the other two builder’s stairs were functional, Stan’s were functional and exceptionally sturdy. Start shaking the hand rails and you will see the difference. In my opinion Stan builds a sturdier home than many builders in the area. You will have to walk through homes during the framing stage to truly appreciate the difference. Stan constructs floors using 4x8 hardi-plank siding over the decking for a stiffer floor and increased structural stability overall. If you take the time to question Stan and his competition about local and national building codes you will see that Stan has the expertise to build your home the “right way”.
